Sales Tax Deduction - Enter All My Receipts Calculation

When using the "Enter All My Receipts" function, is it safe to calculate the tax spent using 2020 credit card statements? Does that count as a receipt?

No.

When you opt to deduct actual sales taxes, you must use receipts which show the amount of sales tax paid. Entries on the credit card statements do not show the amount of sales tax paid.
