I'm doing my 2022 taxes, entered the mileage I had to drive for work (almost 12,000). It didn't increase my return at all. Any ideas why?

Are you a W-2 employee? We cannot tell from your post if you are posting from Self-Employed or some other version of the software.
W-2 employees cannot deduct job-related expenses on a federal return. Job-related expenses were eliminated as a federal deduction for W-2 employees by the tax laws that changed for 2018 and beyond. Your state tax laws might be different in AL, AR, CA, HI, MN, NY or PA.
If you are self-employed you need to enter mileage and business expenses on your Schedule C.
Mileage deductions and other job-related expense deductions are not allowed if you are a W-2 employee. TurboTax allows you to enter the data in case your state allows the deduction on your state return.
