I earned income and also earned unemployment income both incomes I earned were taxable so why can I not get child tax credit my income was more then 2500

I earned income and also earned unemployment income both incomes I earned were taxable so why can I not get child tax credit my income was more then 2500
The Unemployment Income does not count as Earned Income.
At the end of the Child Tax Credit section under Deductions & Credits, TurboTax tells you how much you qualify for, and how it was calculated, so be sure you Continue all the way through the section.
