You did not get what credit? There are several different credits.

Were the children listed as dependents on your tax return?

Are you asking about child-related credits on your tax return or are you asking about the $500 stimulus for children under the age of 17? Look on your Form 1040--are they listed as dependents up near the top of page 1?
