Form 1116 not getting generated

I get the page Excess Foreign Tax Credit, "Your General category foreign income tax paid exceeded your allowed credit. "

and I dont see any form 1116

I suggest going thru the f1116 interview again.  The following is a screen by screen presentation of the interview  whereby the only foreign income is earned income.

@rogge1722, oh wow I think the key was the Other Gross Income!

But I have already reported this income previously, so that's why I did not enter it here.

Is the Amount here in USD or CAD? it says Amount for Canada.
