Cash income

Were do we enter income for a small side job that was paid cash? The options i see dont apply. Not really self employed, no w2’s, no employer.  Just helped somebody out.

Please follow the steps below to enter income received in cash:

1. Click on Tax Home from the Left Side Menu.
2. Click on Income & Expenses on the Main Screen.
3. Scroll Down till you see the section titled "Less Common Income". Within this section, you will see an option for Miscellaneous Income. Click on that. Then within this section, scroll down and you should see an option for "Other Reportable Income". Click on that. Then you can input the description of the work you did and the amount you received.
