I'm sorry, but most "employee business expenses" are no longer deductible after the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act went into effect. See the TurboTax FAQ below for more info.

if you get a w-2 the answer is no because job-related expenses for employees have been eliminated for 2018-2025. if you get a 1099-MISC, you can deduct them on schedule c
