Public pension as death benefit

When adding information from 1099-R.  I am receiving a pension as a death benefit.  My husband was a teacher, public and under "source of distribution"  Public pension would be checked.

My question:  Under "sources of distribution" do I check public, or private or other.

Thanks for reading.
