property taxes on inhertited home

I INHERITED A HOME AND IT HAS BEEN EMPTY SINCE IT NEEDS REMODELING AND THE IS IN PROBATE.

I HAVE BEEN PAYING TAXES AND INSURANCE FOR A YEAR AND HALF.
