Prior to this year, I filed a married filling jointly return, in 2017 we got a divorce and sold an investment property. How do we split the sale of the asset, since ever

thing comes up under me, as I imported from prior years.  We're filling single this year.

If you imported your investment property info from 2016, you can open the property profile and change the ownership % to 50% (or however you agree to split).

Then when you enter the sales info, TurboTax will calculate your share on your return (see screenshots below).

Be sure you updated your personal info and filing status in the My Info section.
