PREMIUN TAX CREDIT

If you had health insurance through the Marketplace at any time during 2019, you will get a 1095-A form and you have to include that on your tax return.

When you enter your 1095-A information, Form 8962 is created in your tax return.

Here is how to add your 1095-A information to a return that has not been filed yet:

    1. Use the search box in the upper right corner to search for 1095A.
    2. Click Jump to 1095-A.
    3. Answer the first question, Yes.
    4. Enter your information.
