Parent plus loan

I have parent plus loans for my son but my son files his own taxes and files himself as a dependent and claims the education credit so is there anyway I can claim the interest I paid in the parent plus if he’s not a dependent and claims his own education credit?

No. According to HollyP in her awesome Turbo Tax post, you would not be able to claim interest on this student loan because your son is not your dependent.
