Once you are logged into Self Employed:
You should now see all of the categories you need to edit. Once you choose a category, it will either give you a choice to choose what to work on (select that), or it will show you the list of Sub-categories which you can scroll through, andchoose to go in and edit (or review).

when I select the box to try and input/edit a medical expense a blue rain drop appears and will not allow me to change the exsisting value. Any ideas what is wrong.
Only medical expenses in excess of 7.5% of adjusted gross income (AGI) are deductible. Did you answer a question pertaining to the dollar amount of medical expenses you had to deduct? This may be limiting your ability to input the information.
