On my Federal Itemized deductions, the medical individual amounts need to be adjusted to equal the total medical amount. How can I get back in to make this adjustment ?

I broke down the medical amount between myself and spouse as requested and entered it in proper boxes, then found another $429 and added it to the total medical amount. How do I get back in and change the individual amount so they equal the total ?

In TurboTax Premier 2016 click  on the Deductions & Credits tab.  Scroll down until you see Medical Expenses.  Click on Update. After that you should get a screen asking you "Did you spend $XX,XXX or more on medical expenses?  If you click on yes it will start asking you question about  each type of medical expenses with a box for your 2016 amount.  Continue to next until you get to the end and it should total up your amount.
