If there is nothing reported in box 10, leave it blank.

Not all Lender report "real estate taxes" on the 1098.

Additionally, you may not pay your real estate taxes through your lender.

Find out what you paid in real estate tax through your receipts or escrow account statement and enter in:

Federal Taxes
Deductions & Credits
Scroll down past "All tax breaks" to "Your Home" Show more
