On 2018 tax return, I entered all my Job Related expenses & took itemized deduction. When it finally got it transmitted to IRS, there is no info of those expenses. Why?

If you're an employee -- someone who receives a Form W-2 for their services -- you can no longer claim such a deduction.

Unfortunately, job-related expenses for employees are no longer deductible under the new law. Please see the TurboTax FAQ "Can employees deduct any job-related expenses?" below for more information.

I am renting out a cottage on the property where I live. Every expense is auto-divided. How would I deduct a full expense which applies only to the rented cottage?
