Hello, I formed a single-member LLC in NY. I've since moved to NC. There is no domestication option in NY to transfer the LLC to NC. I have no physical presence in NY (my business is currently virtual). I've registered as a foreign LLC in NC, where I now live full time. I can't find clear guidance (online or professionally) on whether I should be filing/paying both NY and NC taxes. Can anybody point me in a helpful direction?

If you are living and working in North Carolina, you would not be required to file New York state taxes if it is a service business and you do not have employees.
Thank you! Yes, it is a service business (pllc providing counseling)
