My daughter was born in July 2017, so she technically didn't "live" with me for more than 6 months. Does that mean I can't claim the daycare I have paid?

Normally, a child who is born to you during the tax year is considered to have lived with you all year.

Being born in the last half of the year does not disqualify someone from being a qualifying child.

If you are asked how many months she lived with you, enter 12.
