Medical expenses

I had cancer in 2016 & met all out-of-pocket expenses. I haven't paid for it all, yet. Can I still deduct the expenses if they're not paid yet?

Medical expenses

No, you'll only deduct the expenses for the year in which you paid them.  The ones you pay in 2017 will be entered on next year's return.
