Work/home in PA, kid in OH. I was travelling back and forth. Work reimbursed for travel but as income in W-2. Am I allowed to deduct those costs for tax purposes & where?

I was in a split family arrangement for the first few months of 2018. I was working in PA and had my home here while my son was back in school in OH. I traveled back and forth to visit him every so often. For the first few months of 2018, my work reimbursed me for this travel but then they put this reimbursement as "income" in my W-2. Do I get to deduct this travel cost anywhere in my tax return (if so where) or no?

No.  Sorry.  Your travel was a personal expense.  And even if it was work-related, job-related expenses are not deductible on your federal return under the new tax law.

Certain Unreimbursed business expenses remain deductible on PA  state income tax returns and PA local earned income tax returns.
