No energy credit is showing up for new furnace and airconditioner

I have zero previous credits, but after entering in the cost of my new furnace and air conditioner, the program tells me how my credits are zero.

These credits were not extended for tax year 2018. They expired at the end of 2017.

Thanks for the quick response.  If that is indeed the case, I am curious on why Turbo Tax included this as an option.  Is there a potential for approval, thus making the data valid?  Thanks again!!

TurboTax may have left it in for the possibility that congress would extend it for 2018 sometime early this year even though it was not included in the tax law as written. So far there hasn't been any indication that congress is going to do that.

Again, thanks for the quick reply.  So much for checking the Internet.  I just left the IRS website and Part II of form 5695 is indeed blank and reserved for "future use".
