New error after updating TurboTax Business with latest update on 1/22/26 or 1/29/26. This error was not present in Tax Year 2024, or in earlier SW updates in Tax Year 2025. Why is this showing up now, and if I uncheck the 100% 50% box, more error show up. Is this a TurboTax bug in the latest software update? Or do I just ignore this error?

We anticipate the more complex depreciation calculations within the software should be updated after February 13, 2026. These updates should include Special Depreciation carried over from prior years. Our tech team is working hard to release the updates before that date.
I have the same issue. It won't let me e-file with this error as well.
I have the same issue and the boxes are disabled so there is no way to uncheck the boxes that are highlighted in red.
I had 2 assets that were triggering this error in my return. Both were older items that were fully depreciated. I was able to eliminate the errors by accessing the worksheets that contained the errors for each asset.
Near the top, I clicked No instead of Yes for the Economic Stimulus Qualified Property checkbox. This caused additional errors for the following fields:
Qualified Prop 100% & 50%
Long Production-Period Property and Aircraft
Special Depreciation Allowance Regular Tax
I simply unchecked the boxes for the first 2 fields so that all boxes were blank. The Depreciation amount field showed 0. but it was still highlighted as an error. I deleted the value to leave the field blank. Once all three lines showed blank values, the errors were removed and I was able to e-file.
Note, there is a similar thread for this problem. At this different thread, looks like there may be a fix for this in the next software update

So they seem to have resolved this per some posts on the "Professional Version" but not for Turbo Tax Business (retail product)? It would be great if Intuit could resolve the retail product before Feb 13th. Let us know if you et any updates on this specific issue. Thanks.
I am having the same issue. I was just working with Jovanie J., Tax Expert for over an hour last night and this is not fixed. I've cleared by cookies and cache also and rebuilt my tax return as instructed, and this still won't work. Can you tell me when this is resolved as I was provided a thread to review and post about this issue, but apparently it was in the professional version thread where as noted, it appears to have been resolved. Appreciate any updates on ETC, thank you!
As @PatriciaV says above the updates that will solve this problem are expected by February 13th. Thank you!
This is error was fixed with today's (2/13/26) Update!
Confirmed! This is all fixed now with today's 2/13 software update.
Any update on when this will be updated? It's now February 13.
What version do you have? I still don't have an update with premier and today is Feb. 13 :(
ERROR Message I'm still getting even though the other 5 asset work sheets were fixed with the Feb 13th update but this one still exists:
Asset Entry Worksheet (Name of Asset)
Special Depr Allowance is too large. It cannot exceed 0% of eligible basis.
I just ran the update and of the 7 errors, all but one still remains and it's frustrating that one would not be fixed.
