My wife and I livs in Germany with mutual fund in the US with dividends. Under the tax treaty this should be taxed at a special rate of 15%. Can turbotax handle this?

Enter your Dividends in the Federal Income section as you normally would from your 1099-DIV forms. Choose 'I'll type it in Myself' at the bottom.

Check the box 'My form has info in more than just these boxes' (see screenshot).

Enter amounts from your 1099-Div and scroll down to check the box 'FACTA filing requirement box is checked' (see screenshot).

"Tell us about your foreign dividends" is including dividends and capital gains - is that correct?
