My wife and I live in different states and on the Tax and Interest Deduction worksheet it won't let me put both cities. How do I get it to accept it for both of us?

My wife and I live in different states and the Tax and Interest Deduction Worksheet won't let me enter the sales tax for both locations for the entire year.  How can I correct this?

You can actually compute this manually and enter the amount.

To do this figure out what yours would be and your spouses, and then enter the amount based on receipts and it gets entered on same line of the Sch A.  Just have records for how ii was computed and use the income only at 100% for both states, so do not use it in both places.
