My wife and I bought a home jointly in 2017. My wife sold has former Texas home in 2018. Where do I enter in Turbotax the information about the home she sold?

We live in Iowa in the home we bought jointly in 2017.

Since this is a sale of her principal residence, TurboTax will calculate if the home sale is taxable. Generally, it's not.

Follow these steps:

1. On the left navigation side, select Federal.
2. On the top of the screen, select the Wages & Income tab and continue.
3. Scroll down to All income or Show more income.
4. Scroll down to Less Common Income and select Show more.
5. Scroll down to Sale of Home (gain or loss).
6. Continue with the onscreen interview until complete.
