My tax return shows I owned a home in 2022, but I sold my home in 2021. How can I fix this on 2022 tax return?

The return is asking for details of my 1098, but I do not have one for 2022.  The house was sold in 2021 and I have rented since September 2021.

You can click delete next to the 1098 for that house.

If you start your return from last year, turbotax will pre-load blank forms for everything you did the prior year -- 1098s for interest, 1099s for income, charity donations, etc.  You can delete any one of those preloaded forms that you don't need.
