My son was under 18 the entire 2018 year. All of a sudden it states he does not qualify for the credit. I don't understand why. We moved. Does that matter?

You lost the child tax credit when he turned 17. Moving had nothing to do with it. You can still claim your son as a dependent.

What credit? If you are referring to the Child Tax Credit, he must be under the age of 17 on the last day of 2018 to be eligible for the CTC.
