MY REAL ESTATE TAXES PAID IS NOT IN BOX 10 OF MY 1098 BUT IN ANOTHER LOCATION ON THE 1098 IS THIS CORRECT?

Not all lenders report the Real Estate Taxes paid the same way.

You can use any record that shows what was paid, included your escrow statement or the other areas of the 1098, but it would be advisable to report the taxes paid in a different area of the software.
