There are 7 possible reasons; you aren’t getting the Child Tax credit (CTC). It’s usually #4:
Did you enter any income on the tax return for 2023?
Was your son a newborn? Did you say that he lived with you for the WHOLE year/ You have to say that for a newborn. Or....did he turn 17 in 2023? If he turned 17 you do not get the child tax credit for him any more. You get the $500 credit for other dependents instead.
You said your "one son" does that mean you did get it for your other children? Does it specifically say he does not qualify?
How old is your son? If he is 17 or older, he does not qualify for the Child Tax Credit. But he may still qualify for the $500 nonrefundable Other Dependent Credit.
Or was he born this year? If so, did you enter that he lived with you for the entire year?
How did you answer all of the questions in the personal info section of TurboTax when entering his information.
