My mother passed last year. Do I need a separate Turbo Tax account to file the final estate tax? OR is there some way to do it with my taxes?

Do you need  to do a 1041 Estate/Trust return?  Then you need Turbo Tax Business not to be confused with the personal Home & Business version. Home & Business is just for personal returns that need schedule C for self employment. TT Business is not available to do online or on a Mac. You can buy the Windows Desktop program here,

sorry for your loss. any income received before her death goes on her final 1040.  any income received after needs to be reported on Form 1041 for which you need Turbotax Business - windows only pc 64 bit operating sysytem
