My employer payed relocation assistance, less than two years I got another job but was required to pay back 50% of the relocation, can I deduct this cost of $6,500?

I got the new job in 2017 and that company provided a relocation assistance, the requirement was to stay with the company for 2 years. A little over a year I had a great opportunity that came up and left that job. They required me to pay 50% of the relocation fee which I paid $6,500 in 2018, can I deduct this amount on my taxes? If so how?
