My ct tax return check says to the estate of.Is this a problem?Can I cash it.Please help. Thanks Ruth

It is in error. It doesn't give the name of the estate in question. Plus, there's some space errors in the passage. Also, ct should be in all caps (CT) or, better, spelled out (Connecticut). Ruth, I would not cash this check, and instead report this to the Connecticut Department of Revenue.
