My child was born in October 2018 and it is saying she is not eligible for the 2018 child tax credit. Why would this be?

Generally, this happens when a new parent does not select The Whole Year for the number of months the child lived with you.

Click Edit next to your child's name and walk back through the questions and enter the Whole Year.
