My child qualifies for the Child Tax Credit but he is only getting the Dependent Tax Credit in the Deductions & Credits section, any idea why this might be?

Your son will only get the Other dependent credit of $500 if he is 17 or older, or if he does not have a SSN.

Thank you, it was my error. I had his DOB entered wrong, when fixed the software worked correctly.
