My car is used exclusively for work, can I claim mileage AND my car payment/insurance?

I was wondering if I can claim my car payment and insurance if I do the standard mileage deduction, since my car is just for work. OR if I do the actual expenses deduction, can I deduct my car payment there?

If there is a vehicle that you use for business in your employment or as part of a business that you own, you are allowed to deduct actual vehicle expenses or you can use the IRS standard mileage deduction to claim your vehicle expenses. If this is the first year that you are using the vehicle for business, you must deduct the standard mileage deduction or you must deduct your actual car expenses for the following years that you use the car for work.

You are allowed to deduct the following actual vehicle expenses each year, regardless of whether you deduct the standard mileage deduction or not:

  • Parking Fees and Tolls
