If you paid points and you itemize, it can make a difference.

I don't know if I paid points (don't know what that is) but I didn't itemize so am I ok? I just went through the normal home loan process and took care of it all at the time of the purchase. I skipped that question thinking I would go back but TurboTax accepted my "Home Loan Interest and Property Tax" entry without answering it. Just wondering if I need to amend or anything. Thanks!
