Money spent on medical facility fees

Common medical facilities fees include:
  • Nursing and retirement homes that provide lifetime medical care
  • Inpatient drug and alcohol treatment centers
  • Psychiatric facilities
  • Hospitals and clinics
However, if they are related to doctor visits, you may need to enter the copay information under this page: Tell us about anything spent on medical professionals

In TurboTax, please do the following:
  • Federal Taxes
  • Deductions & Credits
  • Medical
  • Medical Expenses, click Start
  • Tell us about any prescription medication expenses
  • Tell us about anything spent on medical professionals
