Medicare premium deduction

I have Medicare advantage premium deducted from my Social Security. My wife pays her Medicare advantage premium direct to Medicare. I received a SSA-1099 and entered the amounts in TT. How/where do I enter my wife's premium? Can I enter it in "additional medical insurance premiums?

Medicare premium deduction

Yes, Medicare Parts B and D are health insurance premiums.  For more information, review the TurboTax Help article Can I deduct Medicare premiums?

Medicare payments that weren't reimbursed are entered under Medical Expenses in TurboTax.  Medical expenses must exceed 7.5% of your adjusted gross income (AGI) to count toward your itemized deductions  and your itemized deductions must exceed your Standard Deduction for your filing status to itemize.

For instructions, refer to the TurboTax article Can I deduct medical expenses? for more information, review the TurboTax Help article Can I deduct Medicare premiums?
