Medical expenses are only deductible for the amount that is in excess of 7.5% of your AGI. If you look at your schedule A line 3, you will likely see $16,589.
The worksheet flows to line 1 of the Schedule A, then line 2 and 3 are used to reduce your medical expenses by 7.5% of your AGI. Line 4 is your actual medical expense deduction. This is what you will see on your summary screen.

I forgot 2020 was unusual in that I didn't have to take a Minimum Required Distribution.
Therefore even though my medical expenses were lower in 2020, They exceeded my income by a larger amount in 2020, hence a larger deduction.
