My boyfriend paid for my medical bills and prescriptions while I was, unfortunately unemployed. I have no idea how to report this on my taxes. Can anyone help?

You can only claim medical expenses paid by you, or someone who is a spouse or a dependent when the services are provided or when you paid for them. Only the amount of expenses that are greater than 7.5 % of your AGI (Adjusted Gross Income) may be deducted and only if you Itemize Deductions (if you pay mortgage interest, real estate taxes, charity, high medical and dental, unreimbursed employee expense) and not use Standard Deduction. TurboTax will ask you the right questions to make sure you get the higher deduction.
Now, if your boyfriend claims you as a dependent on his return, then he may claim the medical expenses provided they exceed 7.5 % of his AGI (Adjusted Gross Income).

The above answer is not entirely correct for two reasons. You can be considered a medical dependent of your boyfriend even if you are not a tax dependent if:
(1) you lived with him all of 2017.
(2) he provided more than half your support.
If this is true, he can deduct the medical expenses he paid on your behalf even if you are not his dependent for tax purposes. But this is still subject to a threshold (7.5%, not 10% as suggested in the other answer) that only medical expenses in excess of 7.5% of his AGI can be deducted, and he must also itemize deductions.
