Married, filing separately, we divided the mortgage and tax return; how do I account for that since it's not listed on the forms I received for 1099G & for property tax?

For 2016, we were married, filing jointly, but we separated so for 2017 we are married, filing separately.  We both paid the mortgage and we split the 2016 tax returns.  When it asks me for the amount on my 1099G, what do I report since I only took half of that?  Also, I found where I could account for paying a different amount of mortgage interest, but how do I report paying a different amount of property tax?

Report only 1/2 of your state tax refund, but retain your 1099-G for your records. For deducting your property tax, just enter your portion into TurboTax. The mortgage interest section has you reconcile your Form 1098, but the property tax section does not. Again, keep your records to show the total amounts for the year.
