Marking Latest Mortgage Loan

In 2022 I received two 1098s.  My mortgage was transferred to a new lender in April of 2022.   I used the step by step to mark latest 1098 as the lender who received the transferred loan.   However, it seems like I am stuck in an endless loop saying I did not mark the most recent loan.  I tried deleting the first 1098 and reentering and I still got that message.  When I reviewed the mortgage deduction worksheet it shows the mortgage interest paid the original lender was not being including in the mortgage interest deduction and hence my refund was reduced.  How do I correct this issue?  I just want the interest from both lenders included as part of my mortgage interest deduction.

Marking Latest Mortgage Loan

@Frustrated2022 make believe you simply received one 1098 from one mortgage servicer - add the numbers together.  if you are ever audited, you have the documentation to show what you did.  as long as you deduct the amount listed on the 1098s or less, the IRS is not going to care.
