I am trying to amend my 2018 taxes to finish them to submit, but it won't let me make any changes to my job-related expenses tab. I click on edit, and it won't let me do anything anymore. I have plenty more things to add into there as I travelled a lot for work in 2018, and didn't get reimbursed, etc
Thanks

Sorry starting in 2018 Deductions for job expenses have been suspended with the new tax act. See Deductions that have been suspended for 2018-2025
Or are you asking about schedule C self employment business expenses?
By the way, if you didn't filing 2018 then you do not amend. You just finish and mail the original return.
You do not say if you were an independent contractor or if you were a W-2 employee. If you were a W-2 employee your job-related expenses are not deductible on your federal return. The tax laws changed for 2018 and beyond. Some states might allow some job-related expenses.
If you were self-employed (independent contractor) then your expenses go on your Schedule C.
