It says my child doesnt qualify for the tax credit because of another disqualifying credit. he was born in 2016 what is the other disqualifying reson?

You must select that your child lived with the whole year. Any child born during the year qualifies as living with you the whole year. Go back to the Personal Info section and locate the dependent section. Select edit next to the child's name and go back through the questions. Be sure that is answered correctly along with all the other questions.
