Is Turbotax confusing users now so that users end up paying for Live help ? I do not have a mortgage and Turbotax continues asking me about my mortgage lender !!!

You can delete the mortgage information by deleting Form 1098 that was started or transferred from last year. Type 1098 into the search bar. Click enter and use the Jump to 1098 link. Then click on the trash can icon next to the lender and confirm the deletion. Do that for every 1098 listed if more than one. You won't be asked about the lender anymore.
