Is there a glitch on the Tax Software for filing Itemized vs Standard deduction? I chose itemized, but the software kicked me into standard.

I left a lot of deductions on the table and now owe Fed vs a refund.

Click on Federal on the left side of the only program screen

Click on Deductions & Credits

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Continue or Done With Tax Breaks

After a few additional screens, you will come to a screen showing the amount of your Standard Deduction and the amount of your Itemized Deductions.  Which one one is the greater amount?

Thank you for your quick reply!  I did see that screen and interestingly, the Itemized amount was just 7 dollars above the single standard deductions amount.  I chose Itemized, yet when the return was filed, it defaulted to Standard.   I might also mention that I was surprised to note it didnt catch a significant amount of SALT payments, even though those showed up on the Schedule B.   Thus, I wondered about any glitches in the software.

Unfortunately, I didnt catch this until I filed and reviewed the return.   Now I wait until it's finalized so I can file an amendment, which I've never done before.  I also note Turbo Tax doesnt have the amendment software ready either, so I'm waiting for that as well.   Any additional thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
