Is there a credit for energy-efficient improvements in 2018? Specifically energy star windows and insulation. Thanks!

Looking at answers there seems to be confusion- some say yes to windows, others everything expired in 2016 except solar. Thanks

Without further Congressional action the nonbusiness energy property credit (windows, doors, roofs, insulation) expired at the end of tax year 2017, (Internal Revenue Code [IRC] §25C).  See - https://fas.org/sgp/crs/misc/R42089.pdf
