The gross proceeds from the sale of a vacation home is the "selling price" of the vacation home.  

Any fees you were charged at closing can be deducted as "selling expenses".

The gross proceeds from the sale of a vacation home is the "selling price" of the vacation home.  

Any fees you were charged at closing can be deducted as "selling expenses".
