The forms for energy credits will not be ready until later in January. Check back next month.
Thank you--it would be good if Intuit marked the Energy Credits section of the software as needing an update. They have done this for some areas, but if there isn't a label, I assume the section is ready to use and will provide valid calculations. I guess this is just a risk you assume when using these early versions of the software to get an early picture of your tax liability. Is there a process for sending a request like this to Intuit?
Much of the 2023 program is still under construction and there will be many many updates to come in the next couple of weeks. There are no bugs or program errors until after the estimated date of availability which you can check by either clicking on the REVIEW tab in the program or going online here : https://form-status.app.intuit.com/tax-forms-availability/formsavailability?albRedirect=true&product...
Thank you, I will check back in a few weeks.
It doesn't look like it has been updated yet. It's still doing the old 10% credit not 30%

The Form 5695 Residential Energy Credits for tax year 2023 has not yet been finalized in TurboTax.
The Form 5695 is scheduled to be available in TurboTax on 01/31/2024 (subject to change).
Go to his TurboTax website for forms availability - https://form-status.app.intuit.com/tax-forms-availability/formsavailability?albRedirect=true&product...
