Inherited a home in 2016 through a transfer upon death and sold it. Does turbo tax have forms to handle this?
. I then purchased a home 8/12/16.

The "I then purchased a home 8/12/16" is irrelevant to any taxes arising from this transaction.
TurboTax really doesn't have "forms" to handle this - there really aren't any IRS forms for this transaction other than a 1099-S - or a specific "I sold a house I inherited" interview, but you can report the sale.
You use the "Stocks, Mutual Funds, Bonds, Other" interview, (only available in Premier and above if you are using the online version), you tell TurboTax you didn't get a 1099-B, you tell TurboTax the type of investment you sold is "everything else".
